A few of us at Food Not lawns, Cleveland are looking for Egyptian Onion ( Walking Onions).  Does anyone have any to share? Would prefer local, but would also do a bulk order to split with anyone interested. Thanks!

We are looking for local produce vendors to sale their produce at our event on Saturday (7/27/13). It is the Lovin' the local, not lovin' McD's on W 38th, south of Lorain. There is not any charge for the tables. If interested, let me know at webbdeb123@yahoo.com. Yes, I know that this is late notice....

Try out selling at market! Reduce your risk! Sign up for Growhio's vendor assistance program by March 25th: https://secure.jotform.com/form/20432000593.

The program is open to farmers who have not vended at a farmers’ market before and will sell specialty crops (i.e. fruits, vegetables, herbs, honey and maple syrup). Program includes furnished booth space and other resources for getting started!

I just visited a new site for a cleveland heights community garden on North Taylor. They are looking for some enthusiastic volunteers and some donated supplies to get going this spring. Much of the food is grown for donation....anyone willing to help out????

FAIRFAX ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in Cleveland Heights is running a fundraiser selling
large hay bales for only $5!
They usually run around $10 or more this time of year.
So if you want to mulch your winter veg, protect your grass seed, or build a strawbale house now is the time to buy!

The info is available by clicking on the order form link at www.fairfaxpta.org.
Orders are due by end of day this friday,
then pick-up will be at the school on the 20th (unless other arrangements need to be made to accomodate anyone).
If interested, people can contact me via this address lesliekaplansky@att.net.
