Try out selling at market! Reduce your risk! Sign up for Growhio's vendor assistance program by March 25th: https://secure.jotform.com/form/20432000593.

The program is open to farmers who have not vended at a farmers’ market before and will sell specialty crops (i.e. fruits, vegetables, herbs, honey and maple syrup). Program includes furnished booth space and other resources for getting started!

Hey there friends old and new, just thought I'd share an EcoTuesday Feb 28th event we're hosting at the Galleria Gardens Under Glass from 5:30-7:30, to feature Growhio in depth.  Thanks to Gwen Forte for reaching out to request this showcase opportunity.  Happy to host a great Local Foods support network and effort like this.  Look forward to hearing many core stakeholders and that will best represent this in-depth story and visions for the future that engage our great folks.  Thanks!  Call 216-849-8651 with any questions!  Be well.

Growhio is continuing its vendor assistance program through 2012! Under the program, furnished vendor “incubator” booth space and technical assistance is available at 8 Cleveland area farmers’ markets for start-up vendors to help reduce the risk involved in trying out selling at a farmers’ market. The program is open to farmers who have not vended at a farmers’ market before and will sell specialty crops (i.e. fruits, vegetables, herbs, honey and maple syrup). If you are interested in participating in the vendor assistance program, please email us at info@growhio.org by January 31st to let us know!

Thanks for the info! We are in the process of changing website hosts and have been unable to make changes to the website for a few weeks. We hope to have made the transition by the end of the year with many website improvements.

Hi Gwen,
I noticed the broken vermicomposting link too (this is good, it means people are looking) I like this very short video to guide newbies through the process...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3m59Ivcatc

Short videos are very engaging and entertaining learning tools. (maybe its just me, I am a very visual guy)

The Urban Organics YouTube Channel has some good videos.

hi gwen...thanks for the invite.
just so you know the step by step guide to vermicomposting is not working well. it shows text but no photos.
and i noticed that there are no composting demos on the calender. lets chat about getting a few started in january and if the grow ohio team approves, i would like to do two per month somewhere in the growhio region.

thanks for doing what you do.

with respect,
maurice
