Dave Smith is now a member of Local Food Cleveland
Hi, I just became aware of Local Food Cleveland not too long ago and went to the E4S networking event for the first time just recently and met some really great people.
I work for Filtrexx, a small, private company out of Grafton, Ohio that designs and manufactures compost-filled tubular, mesh socks used for sediment control, growing fruit and vegetables, and constructing rain gardens.
I like supporting local farmers by buying most of my produce from them and enjoy volunteering whenever i have the chance.
What gifts can you give to Cleveland's local food community?
Volunteering
What knowledge and practices do you want to learn?
Local food processing and homeopathic benefits from plants.
What about local food makes you most excited?
The fact that it brings communities together
