Health Fairs -- Educating about health, wellness and nutrition -- Re-Thinking What We Eat

As a result of our brainstorming session at the screening event of Fresh, the movie, we are going to develop a traveling educational unit to attend Health Fairs throughout the city and beyond to introduce people to re-thinking food. The focus will be the health benefits of healthy choice, local food, urban gardening, plus the economic and environmental benefits.

If anyone is interested in working on this project, let me know. Our first event will be Nov. 7 at St. Paul's Community Church.

Hi Diane, thanks for the add! Are you representing the screening of Fresh you posted about a few moments ago? I'd be interested in tying in PolyCultures: Food Where We Live in some way... are you familiar with it?
