I am the president of a public relations practice focused in the green building/construction and alternative energy spaces, and have a personal passion for environmental responsibility that "makes sense" (including growing one's own food!)
What gifts can you give to Cleveland's local food community?
My skill lies in genuine and compelling storytelling, and I would love to help by translating this skill in whatever way it can to assist this initiative.
What knowledge and practices do you want to learn?
I am most interested in the Cleveland-area initiatives to convert urban land into community gardens, and would also like to know about the local resources available for winter food growth.
What about local food makes you most excited?
I'm all "fired up" about any kind of resource independence initiatives (including food!), as well as the personal feeling of reward that comes in creating a sustainable food source with one's own hands :-)
