i did want to say that they seem to be doing fine. no frost damage on them.
:)
happy hunting.
Most of the backyard peaches I've seen in Cleveland this year seem to be doing fine.
Lots of mature apples and pears that seem to go unattended around here. Not too many peaches.
I'll keep my eye out for you.
Hi Jon. I was told by a Chef/Produce Manager at the RNR BBQ on Sunday that most of Ohio's peaches were killed by the late frost. Good luck finding - but you may have to go south to get them.
Hey guys. Does anyone know of a peach tree in the area that needs to be picked? I'm looking to do some canning for the winter. If not, do you know of an organic place that is pretty inexpensive? Many thanks!
Hey love, YES I want to pick your brains about grains! Jayce is planning on calling you about it before the meeting. I'll get back to you when we know the date. Hope all's well...
I'm an urban grower/locavore/vegan/hippie tree hugger squeezing as much out of my .08 acre lot in Lakewood as possible. I'm always looking to pick fruit from abandoned or under used trees.
What gifts can you give to Cleveland's local food community?
I have a grain mill and canning equipment that I can share.
