A premier urban garden at the corner of 74th and Union Avenue. As part of the Sustainability Summit 2019, this group has committed to working with the Slavic Village and Cleveland community to unify the residents thru shared activities.
Dan, you should come to at least our first meeting next year. I really think you'll enjoy it. To say the least, we're a little different than the other group in that we have some short-term projects planned and a few long-term.

- I have lived in Cleveland all my life and have seen alot of changes, some good and some bad. I have always been involved in civic activities and am now the coordinator of an urban garden, Union Community Garden. I want it to be a premier garden in the Cleveland area

- I am helping Urban Organics, makers of SweetPeet in Ohio, market a product called Garden Soxx, perfect for Urban Gardens. The Soxx are easy to work with and can be placed anywhere. Makes a great boarder, or row on its own. We have some corporations willing to fund, and are looking for more. Our sponsors want to get gardens onto school property, and may also fund the maintenance of school gardens. I am looking for both interested schools and gardeners who can lead others from the community to maintain the gardens. Looks like you have experience with this.
