Sorry I didn't respond quicker. Yes, we are having an open house, pick your own type thing tomorrow on the 5th and on the 12th from 9 AM-2 PM. Head east on I-90. Take the OH-528 Madison exit (#212). Turn left onto 528, go north until the light downtown. Turn right, go straight through the next light on Rt. 84 and go about 1.8 miles. Farm will be on the left after a curve, slow at a big long white building and there will be a sign with an orange flag, other signs, etc. Pull down that hill into the farm. If you pass Blue Spruce Storage you're still on the farm but turn around and find parking down below. Hope to see you there. Farm name is "Bhutanese Refugee Farmer's Produce" or Shangri La farm, no signs up front for that but those are our farmer's market names. Farm address is 7503 South Ridge Rd. Mark's phone is 440-478-4690. Thanks, busy week but I hope you can make it tomorrow. Paul

Hi, I have been working with a group of Bhutanese refugees who have immigrated to the country. My friends farm is in Madison and we have to transport them round trip back and forth to Lakewood on the days they work. Marketing has been a bit of a problem but today we met with the folks that run the Union Farmer's Markets. It looks as though they will be able to sell at the Cleveland Clinic Market Wednesday. As it is now the Bhutanese work for food but we also have to bring in some money to pay for the costs of growing it.

Larissa, wanted to say hello. I remember you as a student doing a summer project at Holden, I was one of the employees then with Dave as your other boss. I'm now in more of an agricultural situation and wanted to say hello and possibly talk, get your input on some things we have been doing.
