- I became interested in local food after purchasing one of the first City Fresh shares in summer of 2005. Quickly I became a volunteer for the organization, started growing food in the back yard and eventually came to work for City Fresh. I am now the director of City Fresh in Cuyahoga County. Though I don't grow much now, I love working with a diverse group in Cleveland to make more, great food available for everyone in the area.
- What gifts can you give to Cleveland's local food community?
- I bring a passion about health and nutrition, especially that of our school children. I am also a fabulously passionate knitter!
- What knowledge and practices do you want to learn?
- I want to learn how to can
- What about local food makes you most excited?
- I am most excited about making healthy food available to everyone, not just the wealthy.

It didn't take long to be part of a routine to latch onto... I want it back.
I didn't ask Maurice to see the squash. It seemed inappropriate ;) but I still think we should have a January share. I need my fix.
