Hello all,
This is actually my first season of eating locally grown food and growing my own. I was hoping I could gather some ideas as to what others do during the non local farmer's market months.
Where do you get your food?
I greatly appreciate…
I'm a 31 who recently moved back to Cleveland after living in Minneapolis for 7 years. I was introduced to local markets and respect for those who grow and cultivate food in Minnesota. I'm an avid cook who pre plans his weekly meals based on what looks fresh at the markets. I am very interested in learning, helping, and supporting the local agriculture scene. I had my first "major" garden this year and grew (no pun) a greater respect for those who make a living this way.
What gifts can you give to Cleveland's local food community?
Recipes
What knowledge and practices do you want to learn?
Growing, nutritional value, markets
What about local food makes you most excited?
The idea that you can literally know exactly what happened from plant to your dinner table.
