Hi all!
We have recently moved onto 3 acres in Chardon, and are in the process of planting out our VERY large lawn.
We plan to keep bees as of spring 2011, and wan't to plant suitable plants to give them a good constant supply throughout the sea…
The G.C.B.A. is the largest beekeeping organization in Cuyahoga County.
GCBA provides educational programs for the community and advocacy for the interests of its members. It is the voice for bees and beekeepers in N.E. Ohio.
Just starting out on 3 acres. Over the next year we hope to establish many blueberry and raspberry bushes, black walnut, chestnut and american plum trees. In the process of starting an edible understory in our surrounding forested area, and also incorpating many bee friendly plants. Will be keeping bees as of spring 2011, and maybe (big maybe) 2 dairy goats. Currently have a small flock of chickens.
