Tell us about yourself:I am a small CSA farmer trying to make a living at what I enjoy doing. We raise vegetables as well as meat animals in small amounts for our family and farm friends. Yes staying small does limit us financially but ultimately the quality of what we raise is far superior to anything a large commercial farm can offer.
I find it very satisfying that I am able to sell directly to the customer from our farm to give them freshness and flavor that beats store bought foods hands down.
One on OneI enjoy being able to meet and talk with my customers, members and chefs on a weekly basis and believe it is key to a good farmer - customer relationship.
I am very proud of what I do, and to be able to show my customers where their food is grown and under what conditions their meat animals live is always a satisfying experience for me and gives peace of mind to my customers who may have only heard the bad things about how meat animals are treated on farms.
I am willing to work and enjoy working with individuals, groups and restaurants to grow the food you need.
Turkey For Dinner This year we may have a few extra Great Whites and Bronze Turkeys for Thanksgiving as well as a few extra Geese for Christmas. Please email or check our website as it gets closer to the Holidays. Our Fresh Turkey pickup day will be Saturday November 22nd, for those who have reserved a turkey. |
